Privacy policy

Your account email address and a sign-in session. If you sign in with Google, the email address on that Google account is what we receive.

Your run: the world, chapter and beat you stand on, your stats, inventory, relationships and deaths, and the moves you have taken.

The narration written for you, so that reopening a record puts you back into your story instead of starting it over.

Your credit ledger: what was granted or purchased, and what each turn spent.

To run the story, to hold your place between sessions, and to keep the credit ledger honest and auditable.

None of it is used to build an advertising profile.

Narration is produced by Anthropic (Claude). The text you write and the run context needed to answer it are sent to Anthropic to generate the narration you receive. We send it for that purpose.

Card payments, when they are enabled, are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.

We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to advertisers.

Your account, your runs and their turn logs, and your credit ledger are kept while your account exists, because they are the story you can return to and the record of what you were charged.

When you delete your account, your runs and the narration written for them are kept for 30 days — unreachable, since there is no longer any way to sign in — and then removed.

When moderation stops a move or a piece of narration, we record which rule fired and a one-way fingerprint of the text rather than the text itself, so a pattern of abuse can be reviewed without keeping a copy of what was written.

The credit ledger and records tied to a completed payment are kept for as long as we are required to keep them, and no longer.

You must be 13 or older to hold an account, which you confirm when you sign up.

The Google Play version of LCLVERSE carries PG-13 stories only.

Adults-only worlds exist on the website and the direct download, and they unlock only on a Google-verified age of 18 or over. When we read that, we store the age range only — never a date of birth or an identity document.

One session cookie, so that you stay signed in. Nothing here follows you onto other sites.

Delete your account yourself at /legal/delete-account. It is on the web, so it works whether or not you still have the app, and it is reachable from your profile inside it. We email you a confirmation link and nothing is deleted until you open it.

That destroys your account, your notes, your badges and your sign-in tokens at once. Your runs and the narration written for them are removed 30 days later; until then nobody, including you, can reach them. Any unspent credit becomes unusable, because there is no way left to sign in.

Two things survive, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Worlds you published stay live for the people playing them, with your name removed — other people's runs are not ours to destroy on your request. And records tied to a completed payment are kept for as long as we are required to keep them, attached to an anonymous id with no name or address on it, and no longer.
